Scout was born on the streets of North Carolina in May 2018. As a young puppy, she was part of a large group of dogs saved from the streets and brought to upstate New York for adoption. She was rescued by Joe and Julia Perdue at ten weeks old. She has graduated from advanced training and is a very good girl. Most days, she can be found in the church office helping Joe with pastoral care, hosting visitors, and distracting the staff from their work. Scout enjoys hiking, swimming, eating gross things, and cuddling with her pet cat.
