Pat was born in New Haven (at the Hospital of Saint Raphael where her mother worked as a registered nurse) and was raised in Ansonia in a two-family home designed and built by her maternal grandfather. She has a younger sister who lives in Maine and a younger brother who lives in California. Pat has been a resident of West Haven for over 30 years; her house is located a short distance from the West Haven and Milford beaches. She is proud to be the “hip” aunt of two nephews and three nieces. Pat has many hobbies which keep her busy. She has always had an interest in early American and Native American history and, in 1995, became of member of Old Sturbridge Village, a living history museum located in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. She has also always enjoyed the performing arts and, in 1997, she was introduced to ballroom dancing, taking many private as well as group dance lessons. In 2001 she joined the Greater New Haven Community Chorus. In addition to singing (alto) with the chorus, in 2013 she joined its Board of Directors. In 2014 she was elected treasurer, a position she still holds.
