This Christmas Fair will mark the 97th time our church has gotten together and joined efforts to put on a wonderful community fair. Having had to do things a little differently in the past few years to stay relevent through unprecedented times, we're happy to apply those new skills along with the traditional way of doing things!
The crafters are now gathering ideas and materials, sewers are sewing, knitters are knitting and bakers put on notice. The “treasures” part of our fair will be collected in late fall and most of our favorite departments should be returning, e.g. the Golden Nuggets, Curiosity, Books, etc.
The Fair is an important fellowship event at First Congregational. Small groups gather to work on projects during the year and as the Fair approaches, so do the number of activities around the Fair as creating wreaths and swags to decorate our home, food preparations in the kitchen, and finding items for the Silent Auction.
Church members, friends and community plan to meet at the Fair and enjoy the lunch menu. We are all looking forward to December 3rd for a fun, festive fundraiser for the church.
